Betfred visit planning

Betfred New Year's Opening Times

New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and the days immediately after them need their own checks. Do not assume the usual weekday row applies across the turn of the year.

Check each date separately

Ask about the closing time on 31 December and the opening time on 1 January. A shop may publish a special notice covering both dates; read the date and year carefully.

Scotland and substitute holidays

Bank holiday calendars are not identical across Great Britain. Scotland has a 2 January bank holiday, and substitute dates can apply when holidays fall at a weekend. The calendar identifies the holiday, not a shop’s confirmed hours.

Returning to the ordinary week

A festive timetable may continue beyond New Year’s Day. Confirm when the branch returns to its normal weekly schedule, especially before an early morning visit.

Regular weekly reference

These are directory-wide extremes, not one shop’s timetable. The earliest opening and latest closing can belong to different branches. They do not establish live or holiday opening.
